Administrative Assistant - Law Office

Location: Crossville, TN

Pay: $15/hour

Schedule: Tuesday - Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM


Express Employment Professionals is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to support a busy law office in Crossville. This position is ideal for someone who is highly organized, professional, and able to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.


Responsibilities:

• Answer and direct phone calls, greet clients, and manage front desk reception.
• Maintain attorney calendars, schedule client meetings, and track court dates and deadlines.
• Prepare, proofread, and file legal documents, including electronic court filings.
• Organize and maintain client files, both physical and electronic.
• Draft correspondence, letters, and memos as directed.
• Assist with billing, office supply management, and general office support.
• Ensure confidentiality and professionalism in all client and office interactions.

Requirements:

• Previous administrative or legal office experience preferred.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel).
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Ability to multitask and meet deadlines with accuracy.
• Professional demeanor and customer service skills.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to sit at a desk and work on a computer for extended periods.
• Occasional lifting of files, boxes, or office supplies (up to 20 lbs).
• Ability to bend, reach, and move around the office as needed.
