Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Previous experience as a paraprofessional in an educational setting preferred
• Familiarity with classroom routines, behavioral management, and student engagement strategies
• Ability to work effectively with students of varying abilities and backgrounds
• Excellent communication skills for interaction with students, teachers, and administrators
• Flexibility, patience, and a strong sense of empathy
• High school diploma or equivalent required; relevant certifications or coursework a plus

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist classroom teachers with instruction and preparation of learning materials
• Support students in small groups or one-on-one, reinforcing lessons and promoting understanding
• Supervise students in various settings including classrooms, hallways, lunchrooms, and playgrounds
• Contribute to maintaining a safe and welcoming classroom environment
• Help implement individualized education plans (IEPs) or behavioral intervention plans under teacher direction
• Aid with personal care needs for students if required
• Participate in team meetings and professional development opportunities
