Desired Qualifications:

Valid certification as a Special Education Teacher.

Demonstrated experience in either EC resource/inclusion or self-contained classroom settings.

Proven ability to successfully support students with significant Autism.

Familiarity and proficiency with ECATS for data tracking and documentation.

Strong collaborative skills and excellent communication with staff and families.

Compassion, creativity, and the ability to adapt instructional strategies to individual student needs.

Responsibilities:

Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) tailored to each student’s strengths and needs.

Utilize ECATS for accurate and timely documentation.

Collaborate with general education teachers, therapists, and support staff to foster inclusive learning experiences.

Create positive, structured classroom environments that encourage student engagement and growth.

Engage with families to provide updates on student progress and recommend appropriate supports.

Encourage and support students in achieving academic, social, and behavioral goals.
