Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments of clients' mental health needs, use diagnostic tools, and establish clinical diagnoses based on comprehensive understanding.

• Develop personalized, evidence-based treatment plans that account for the unique goals and circumstances of each client.

• Facilitate individual, group, and family therapy sessions utilizing a range of therapeutic modalities tailored to specific client needs.

• Provide essential crisis intervention strategies and support for clients experiencing acute mental health crises, ensuring their immediate safety and emotional wellbeing.

• Document all client interactions meticulously and maintain confidential records, including treatment plans and progress notes, in compliance with ethical and legal standards.

• Engage in collaborative efforts with interdisciplinary teams, developing a comprehensive care approach that includes psychiatrists, social workers, and other professional stakeholders.

• Empower clients and their families through education on mental health topics, treatment alternatives, and available community resources, advocating for their rights when necessary.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

At Accent Care, you will work with a diverse array of clients, including children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families facing various mental health challenges. Qualifications\n

• Valid and active licensure as a Mental Health Therapist (LMFT, LMHC, LCSW, LCSW-R) in New York State.

• A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in counseling, psychology, social work, or a closely related field, with a Master’s or Doctoral degree preferred.

• Proficient clinical assessment skills, with the capability to formulate and implement effective treatment plans.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, allowing for effective collaboration with clients and interdisciplinary teams.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
