Make a difference each day by supporting a middle school student as a paraprofessional in a rewarding, full-time contract position. This unique opportunity is designed for a compassionate, adaptable individual ready to work 1:1 with a male student aged 12-13, providing dedicated support throughout the school day.

What You’ll Bring:

• Previous experience as a paraprofessional or in a similar student support role
• Patience, empathy, and strong interpersonal skills
• Ability to adapt to individual student needs and respond constructively to challenges
• Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and professionalism
• Strong communication skills for collaboration with teachers and staff
• High school diploma or equivalent required; additional relevant certification is a plus

Primary Responsibilities:

• Work directly with one student, providing assistance with academic tasks, organization, and daily routines
• Implement teacher and specialist strategies to support learning and positive behavior
• Help the student engage in classroom activities and encourage social interaction with peers
• Offer redirection, prompts, and encouragement as needed
• Ensure the student’s safety and well-being at all times
• Document progress and communicate observations to supervising staff
• Adapt support methods as the student's needs evolve
