Bring your expertise supporting students and educators to a rewarding contract opportunity in a dynamic school setting located near Bedford, TX. We're seeking a credentialed Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) ready to make a meaningful impact by fostering positive behavior and skill development for learners.
In this engaging role, you'll collaborate across multidisciplinary teams, design and implement behavior intervention plans, and provide support and training to school staff. What you need to succeed:
- Active BCBA certification required
- Previous experience working in a school or educational environment preferred
- Strong skills in conducting functional behavior assessments (FBAs) and designing intervention strategies
- Competence in developing, monitoring, and adjusting individualized behavior intervention programs
- Collaborative nature and ability to communicate effectively with students, families, and staff
- Commitment to ethical standards and ongoing professional development
Key responsibilities:
- Assess behavioral needs of students and create data-driven intervention plans
- Consult with teachers and staff on implementation and progress monitoring
- Deliver ongoing training, coaching, and support to educators and paraprofessionals
- Collect and analyze data to inform decision-making and adjust plans as needed
- Foster positive, inclusive school climates that support student growth
- Document interventions, maintain records, and support compliance with district and state guidelines
