Work Environment\n

As a Mental Health Therapist at our practice, you will enjoy a remote work setting that balances professional responsibilities with personal life. While you will primarily work from home, there will be opportunities for in-person collaboration during team meetings and training sessions. Our standard working hours are Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, promoting a healthy work-life balance. Key Responsibilities\n

Your role will encompass a variety of tasks aimed at improving patient outcomes through effective mental health care. Specific responsibilities include:

• Conducting comprehensive assessments to accurately evaluate the severity and duration of clients' mood disorder symptoms.

• Collaborating with clients to create personalized treatment plans that reflect their individual needs, preferences, and therapeutic goals.

• Implementing evidence-based therapeutic interventions, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to assist clients in managing their symptoms.

• Providing education to clients and their families regarding mood disorders, helping them understand treatment options and effective self-care strategies.

• Monitoring client progress throughout their therapy, adjusting treatment plans as needed to ensure effective care delivery.

• Working closely with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to provide integrated care and comprehensive treatment for clients.

• Staying informed about the latest developments in mental health treatment and methodologies, applying best practices to your therapeutic approach.

• Maintaining diligent and confidential documentation of client assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes in compliance with legal and ethical requirements.

Your work will specifically target individuals struggling with mood disorders, including but not limited to depression, anxiety, and bipolar disorder. You will be working with clients from various backgrounds, each facing unique challenges in their mental health journeys. Qualifications\n

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited university.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of Tennessee.

• A solid foundation in evidence-based treatment modalities for mood disorders, particularly CBT and DBT.

• A comprehensive understanding of psychopharmacology, enabling effective collaboration with psychiatrists and other medical professionals.

• A proven track record of successful outcomes in treating patients with mood disorders.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, enabling you to establish rapport and trust with clients from diverse backgrounds.
