Assistant Store Manager - Rock ' N ' Road - Mission Viejo, CA

Job Summary Assistant Store Manager for Specialized’s Rock ‘N’ Road location in MissionViejo, CA. A key partner in the retail network, you balance excellent retail operations with passion for people and the brand. How You’ll Make a Difference Act as the store’s representative and lead retail teammates when the Store Manager is absent. Assist the Store Manager with day‑to‑day operations, including scheduling, inventory counts, and team development. Coach and support new and existing retail teammates. Help achieve profitability goals by covering or exceeding the store’s run cost to maximize contribution to Specialized’s topline revenue. Deliver transformative, inclusive, ride‑focused, locally authentic experiences for staff and riders, in line with the Specialized Way. Track weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual revenue goals and support the Store Manager with performance objectives. Build and maintain long‑term relationships with key riders and retailers. Uphold cleanliness and organizational standards for the retail location. Ensure timely delivery of special orders and home deliveries. Collaborate with the Service Manager to manage rider expectations and achieve service metrics. Work with the Operations/Receiving Manager on inventory management, including receipt, processing, and merchandising of new and on‑hand inventory. Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures. Perform other duties as assigned. What You Need to Win Passion for cycling and the Specialized brand. Business‑cosm retail experience with at least 1year preferred. Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact effectively with riders and teammates. Availability to work weekends and holidays as required. Physical ability to stand for extended periods, walk, kneel, and reach regularly.
