Intake Coordinator

Job Title Claims Intake/Administrative Assistant Job Summary We are seeking a highly detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Claims Intake/Administrative Assistant. This role is primarily focused on accurate and timely data entry, supporting claims processing, processing mail, and providing excellent client service. You’ll be the first point of contact for new claims, responsible for inputting critical information into our systems, assisting adjusters, and helping keep the claims process running smoothly. Key Responsibilities Answer incoming calls and serve as the first point of contact for reported claims. Accurately enter new claims into the system and assign to the appropriate adjuster. Collect and process documentation via phone, email, and fax. Perform thorough data entry for first reports of injury with extreme attention to detail. Confirm insurance coverage and elevate claims as needed based on injury severity. Respond to client inquiries and route questions to the appropriate team members. Support supervisors with administrative tasks and other claim-related duties such as printing and mailing letters. Handle additional administrative responsibilities such as processing mail and paying legal invoices. Assist with special projects or other tasks as assigned. Qualifications Associate’s degree preferred. Exceptional attention to detail-accuracy is critical in this role. Strong organizational and time management skills. Excellent verbal and written communication. Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and internet navigation; experience with claims software is a plus. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
