The Coding Operations Coordinator proactively identifies areas of opportunity to improve coding quality through ongoing coding audit results, coder questions, denials information and other feedback; demonstrates attention to detail to minimize coding errors. The Coding Operations Coordinator also maintains professional relationships within the organization to gain an in depth understanding of strategic plans and needs.**Qualifications:*** High school graduate or equivalent GED required. Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred.* One of the following certifications is required: Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT), Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA), Certified Coding Specialist (CCS), or Certified Professional Coder (CPC).* Five (5) years of coding experience in a hospital coding setting required. Prior experience with Epic desired.* Expert knowledge of ICD-10-CM, ICD-10-PCS, CPT-4, CCI and OCE Edits required.* Knowledge of principles of information management to effectively analyze data, solve problems, and make decisions.* Training and presentation skills required.* Ability to collaborate, build strong interpersonal relationships at all levels of the organization and with external partners.* Exceptional skill and ability in using verbal and written communications to influence organizational leaders* Ability to prioritize and organize multiple projects and issues.* Detail oriented; Strong organizational and time management skills.* Ability to work independently with minimum supervision.* Ability to demonstrate innovative and critical thinking skills# We're proud to offer that support you in every stage of your career and life.
