About the role The Multi‑Client Accounts Payable Specialist manages full‑cycle AP for a dedicated portfolio of distinct customer companies. This role requires navigating multiple accounting entities daily, tailoring processes to each client’s specific business model, chart of accounts, and approval workflows. This is an in‑person opportunity and a client‑facing position. Key Responsibilities & Tasks Portfolio Processing: Manage full‑cycle AP processing for multiple clients across diverse industries. Multi‑Entity Invoicing: Review, code, and input high‑volume invoices into client‑specific software using unique GL parameters. 3‑Way Matching: Execute strict matching across distinct client purchase orders, receiving logs, and invoices. Payment Batches: Coordinate client approvals and schedule weekly payments via check runs, ACH, and wires. Dispute Resolution: Act as the primary liaison between clients and vendors to resolve balance and invoice discrepancies. Month‑End Support: Reconcile vendor statements, balance sub‑ledgers, and calculate necessary monthly expense accruals. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business, or a related field. System Agility: Deep proficiency with QuickBooks Online and NetSuite is highly preferred. Cognitive Flexibility: Ability to quickly switch between different businesses and charts of accounts. Data Management: High proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, PivotTables, and data sorting). Communication: Excellent customer‑facing verbal and written communication skills. Self‑propelled: Able to thrive in ambiguity – can navigate through a complex, multi‑faceted organization with multiple stakeholders. Knowledge of and experience using Prism software. Strong computer skills in Microsoft Office products, especially Excel. Excellent interpersonal abilities; expertise in building and maintaining business relationships. Must be willing to travel. Strong organizational and time management skills. PEO/ASO/human resources outsourcing experience is a plus. Familiarity with Microsoft Applications including Teams and Outlook.
