Job Title : Lead Automotive Technician / Shop Master Mechanic

Location : Seven Hills, OH 44131

Job Type : Full-Time, Monday to Friday ( No Weekends Required!)

Salary : $38.00 - $42.00 per hour (Hourly, non-flat rate) + Year-End Performance Bonus

AutoShop Recruiting has partnered with an established independent automotive group to locate a high-performing Lead Master Technician for an incredibly busy, high-volume service center in Seven Hills, OH.

This role is structured entirely on an hourly basis to completely eliminate the high-pressure sales quotas and unstable paycheck cycles of standard flat-rate dealership flags. You will work alongside an exceptional Service Manager to maintain floor flow, diagnose advanced vehicular concerns, and directly guide a highly enthusiastic junior crew.

Core Accountabilities:

• Execute precision electrical diagnosis and trace complex malfunctioning components using advanced diagnostic equipment.
• Document systematic vehicle checkups clearly through our modern digital shop management network (TekMetric).
• Provide active shop-floor mentorship and skills coaching to apprentice mechanics and a fast-learning loop technician.

Position Requirements:

• 6+ years of documented professional auto-repair service experience.
• Superior familiarity with diagnostic software, electrical tracing, and multi-system mechanical overhauls.
• Deep pride in teaching others; you enjoy actively lifting up younger techs on your floor.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving abstract.
• Master ASE certificates are strongly preferred.
