Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments to evaluate the mental health status, strengths, and needs of patients entering our detox program.

• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including but not limited to cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), tailored to individual patient needs.

• Collaborate closely with medical staff to ensure cohesive and comprehensive care plans, attending treatment team meetings to discuss progress and adjust care strategies as needed.

• Guide patients and their families in understanding their diagnoses, treatment options, and the roles of various medications in their recovery journey.

• Facilitate individual, group, and family therapy sessions using evidence-based modalities, promoting healing within the familial and social contexts.

• Develop customized treatment plans in partnership with patients, taking into account their personal goals and preferences to encourage buy-in and ownership of their recovery process.

• Assist patients in navigating the complexities of mental health systems, ensuring they have access to the resources and support they deserve, while advocating for their rights and needs.

• Conduct psychoeducation and therapeutic groups, as well as manage discharge planning meetings to prepare patients for life beyond the detox center.

Qualifications\n
