Client Payment Relationship Manager

Job Description Lead primary relationship manager for a portfolio of large corporate clients. Partner with treasury, payments, and service teams to deliver an exceptional client experience, monitor payment performance, identify trends and risks, and translate insights into actions that improve client outcomes, operational efficiency, and revenue retention. Responsibilities Build trusted executive-level relationships. Analyze payment volumes and service metrics to prepare client-facing performance reporting. Track service commitments, resolve issues, and coordinate cross‑functional resolution efforts. Support onboarding, change initiatives, and identify opportunities to deepen client engagement through consultative problem solving and data‑driven insights. Required Skills Proven experience managing payment product client relationships. 8–10 years of relevant experience. Strong ability to interpret payment performance data, service metrics, and operational trends from multiple systems. Experience analyzing fraud and chargeback performance, identifying trends, and partnering with clients and internal teams to improve outcomes. Advanced analytical and problem‑solving skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including presenting insights to senior client stakeholders. Demonstrated ability to coordinate across product, operations, technology, and service teams. Strong organizational skills with ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment. Desired Skills Experience with treasury management, commercial payments, merchant services, or receivables/payables solutions. Proficiency with Excel, Tableau, or similar reporting and analytics tools. Experience developing client performance dashboards and executive business reviews. Strong commercial mindset to identify cross‑sell opportunities and support client growth strategies. Knowledge of payment operations, implementation processes, and service-level performance management. Coding skills. Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, economics, analytics, or a related field.
