Property Manager

Job Full Description

Express Employment Professionals is partnering with a well-established multifamily housing community in Omaha to hire an experienced Property Manager. This is a great opportunity for a motivated leader who enjoys team management, leasing, operations, and creating a positive resident experience.


Position Details

• Type: Full-Time | Evaluation-to-Hire
• Schedule: Monday-Friday | 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM | Occasional weekend availability
• Location: Omaha, NE
• Salary: Up to $60,000 per year, depending on experience

Property Manager Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily operations of a multifamily residential community
• Hire, train, supervise, and lead on-site staff (approximately 6 team members)
• Drive leasing, marketing, and resident retention efforts
• Maintain strong communication with residents, prospective tenants, vendors, and staff
• Conduct regular property inspections and coordinate maintenance priorities
• Resolve resident concerns professionally while maintaining high service standards
• Manage financial operations including rent collection, deposits, and reporting
• Monitor budgets, expenses, and property performance
• Ensure compliance with company policies and housing standards
• Participate in management meetings and property performance reviews

What We're Looking For:

• Previous Property Manager experience required
• Strong leasing and sales background preferred
• Experience leading and managing on-site property teams
• Familiarity with property management software preferred
• Experience with capital improvements or property renovations is a plus
• Strong problem-solving and leadership skills
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities
• Basic financial, math, and bookkeeping knowledge
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail
