Event Coordinator
Location: Miami, FL Job Type: Full-Time Note On-campus work in Miami, FL
We are seeking a highly organized and dynamic Event Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about planning and executing exceptional events that leave a lasting impression. As an Event Coordinator, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of event management, from initial concept through to execution and post-event evaluation.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and coordinate all aspects of events, including venue selection, catering, entertainment, and transportation.
- Develop detailed event timelines and schedules to ensure smooth execution.
- Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts to secure the best services and prices.
- Oversee event setup, execution, and teardown, ensuring all elements meet quality standards.
- Collaborate with marketing and communications teams to promote events effectively.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as an Event Coordinator or similar role in event planning.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities with strong attention to detail.
- Superior interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.
- Proficient in event management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
