This position is responsible for the risk management services and related activities for our larger construction accounts. Our Construction Service Consultants help our insureds mitigate construction risks to reduce or eliminate potential losses. This is a home-based, remote position, that will require periodic travel for business and client meetings including occasional travel to our Headquarters in Fairfield, Ohio.The pay range for this position is $75,000 - $140,000 annually. The pay determination is based on the applicant’s education, experience, location, knowledge, skills, and abilities. Eligible associates may also receive an annual cash bonus and stock incentives based on company and individual performance.Be ready to:develop and coordinate construction related risk mitigation plansconduct jobsite visits as part of the consultative assessmentsprovide regular updates to all stakeholders regarding risk mitigation progressdevelop and maintain positive relationships with insureds and representative agenciescreate technically detailed reports assessing risks within construction industryQualificationsBe equipped with:ability to conduct qualitative risk assessments in construction industryprofessional designations related to construction and/or construction safetyfamiliar with risk transfer subcontract agreementsability to work remotely within a multi-state region having flexibility to travel (approximately 30%)diverse knowledge of construction industry hazards and mitigation strategiesability to manage safety training programs and inspectionstime management skills and ability to work independently to accomplish goalsstrong interpersonal, consultative, and organizational skillsstrong strategic thinking abilitiesstrong data analytical skillsability to work independently to accomplish initiativesdemonstrated pursuit of continuing educationproficiencies in Microsoft Office tools and related softwareBring education and experience from:a bachelor’s degree in either Safety, or Construction industry, or construction related experience and training4-5 years’ experience within the construction industryPreferred experience but not required:loss control experience with a property & casualty insurance organizationfamiliar with the independent agency systemprofessional insurance risk management designations such as CSP, CPCU, or ARMknowledge of commercial lines insurance products and coveragesEnhance your talents Providing outstanding service and developing strong relationships with our independent agents are hallmarks of our company.
