Accounts Payable Specialist

We are looking for an Accounts Payable Specialist to join a non-profit organization in El Monte, California on a Contract basis. This role supports a high-volume payables function and is ideal for someone who can manage invoice processing, vendor payments, and reconciliations with accuracy and minimal supervision. The position follows a permanent schedule and offers a hybrid arrangement, with onsite work on Tuesdays and Thursdays.Responsibilities:• Process a large volume of accounts payable transactions each week while maintaining accuracy and timeliness.• Review invoices, assign the correct account coding, and prepare entries for payment in Oracle Fusion.• Manage vendor disbursements through ACH and check runs in accordance with established payment schedules.• Reconcile payable records and resolve discrepancies by researching transaction details and supporting documentation.• Coordinate with internal teams and vendors to address billing questions, payment status updates, and outstanding issues.• Maintain organized financial records and ensure all payable activity is documented in compliance with internal standards.• Support day-to-day accounts payable operations independently in a fast-paced environment with shared workflows.
