Virginia Beach, VA Full-Time | MondayFriday | 9:00 AM Start $20$24/hr (Based on Experience) PeopleShare is partnering with a respected medical office in Virginia Beach to hire an Accounts Payable Specialist who enjoys detail-driven work and a structured routine. What You'll Do
- Process invoices, credit memos, and payments accurately
- Reconcile vendor statements and fix discrepancies
- Maintain vendor records and payment info
- Enter payments into vendor portals and pull invoices via EDI
- Assist with month-end close and accounting support
- Communicate with vendors by phone and email
What We're Looking For
- 13 years of Accounts Payable or related experience
- QuickBooks Online experience (required)
- Strong attention to detail and organization
- Ability to juggle priorities in a fast-paced office
Work Environment
- Seated work for extended periods
- Occasional lifting up to 50 lbs
- Professional office setting
