ACCOUNTS PAYABLE SPECIALIST

Location: On-Site- Dania Beach, FL Salary Range: $55,000 - $65,000 Why take an AP role with this company? Relaxed, professional environment with a strong focus on accuracy and process integrity Excellent benefits including 100% employer-paid health insurance for employees and dependents, generous 401(k) contributions, and over 4 weeks of paid vacation plus 13 holidays Opportunity to work with a collaborative finance team and contribute to process improvements Stable organization with a strong mission and long-term growth outlook What The AP Specialist Will Do Perform all aspects of accounts payable including invoice entry, purchase order matching, and payment processing Maintain vendor records, coordinate W-9s, and manage 1099 reporting Reconcile AP transactions and assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual audits Review and verify check requests and expense reports using GAAP standards Communicate with vendors to resolve discrepancies and maintain accurate records Support credit card reconciliation and ensure clearing accounts are balanced monthly What The Company Needs In An AP Specialist Associate’s degree in Accounting or Business Administration preferred 3+ years of experience in Accounts Payable Proficiency in Microsoft Dynamics Great Plains (GP) and Microsoft Office Suite is a plus Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and ability to manage multiple tasks Excellent communication skills and a professional, courteous demeanor
