You will lead bankers in the management of a portfolio of business or Not-for-Profit clients, build relationships by providing financial education and solutions with a focus on client experience; and identify and offer capital solutions up to $500K. Business Banking is looking for you to lead a team in managing, developing, and growing the bankers, while offering you the chance to grow professionally and make a significant impact in our company.Job ResponsibilitiesProvide leadership, management, support, direction and guidance to a team of Business Solutions Bankers (BSBs) to develop deposit, cash management, and credit business; and focus on relationship-building, client experience, and risk managementUse knowledge of banking, industry trends, and internal tools to identify, recommend, and promote solutions that best serve the client—while still working within risk parameters that protect the bank and ensure profitability of the portfolioTrain, coach, and manage the performance of individual team members, holding all BSBs accountable for achieving business priorities with a focus on client experience. Utilize reporting and metrics to monitor team performance, identify trends, and address or escalate issues in a timely mannerActively recruit and promote diversity and inclusion; maintain a pipeline of viable candidates; select, hire, develop, and retain top quality talent; and engage in Business Resource Groups and Chase Activities to show site leadership and maintain a respectful team environmentCoach and develop a team on all aspects of managing a portfolio including relationship management, profitability, client experience, and risk management; provide expertise to a team on developing customized solutions, and help team identify solutions and resolve client issuesInspect and engage with team members as they plan and conduct regularly scheduled, agenda-based meetings with each client to understand their needs and goals; guide bankers in identifying the client's banking needs, analyze current product usage, and pinpoint growth opportunities through Zoom and phone engagement; and champion client engagement through screen share tools to educate, guide, and assist the client with Chase online systemsHold BSBs accountable for owning the client relationship—knowing where to route requests and when to connect with internal partners to ensure problems are resolved and the client's financial needs are metBuild collaborative relationships with partners across lines of business: INK, Chase Payment Services, 401K, and Virtual BankRequired Qualifications, Capabilities, and SkillsMinimum of 7 years of experience in a business banking relationship management role or related experiencePrior experience managing a team responsible for strengthening client relationshipsProven ability to lead proactively through changeExpert knowledge of deposit and cash management products and services, and advanced knowledge of business credit underwritingMaintain strong communication skills with individuals at all levels internally and externallyConsistently uses a disciplined process to manage time; uses time strategically to balance long-term and day-to-day demands of management roleAbility to analyze reports, metrics, and other data to identify trends, issues, and opportunitiesProven ability to build collaborative relationships across the organization and influence others to achieve desired outcomesAbility to balance needs of clients with associated risks and interests of the firmHighly proficient in MS Office tools including Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPointAbility to travel occasionally for key business and leadership meetings and trainingPreferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and SkillsBachelor's degree in Finance or related field, or equivalent work experienceExperience with Business CentralChase is a leading financial services firm, helping nearly half of America's households and small businesses achieve their financial goals through a broad range of financial products.
