Accounting Assistant

POSITION PURPOSE
Support TDG’s Accounting Department with accurate, timely financial administration, including invoice processing, receivables follow-up, reconciliations, and recordkeeping. This position works closely with Accounting leadership and project teams to help maintain dependable financial information and responsive service.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Accounts payable Receive and organize vendor invoices, verify approvals and supporting documentation, enter bills, and assist with payment preparation. Accounts receivable & billing Support client invoice preparation, maintain billing records, post receipts, and follow up on outstanding balances as directed. Reconciliations & accuracy Assist with bank, credit card, and account reconciliations; research discrepancies and raise issues. Project & expense support Maintain project expense documentation, employee reimbursements, vendor records, and coding consistent with TDG procedures. Controls & communication Maintain organized confidential records, follow approval workflows, and respond promptly to internal and external accounting inquiries.AUTHORITY & ACCOUNTABILITY
Process routine accounting transactions and maintain supporting records within established procedures. Flag exceptions, missing approvals, unusual balances, and sensitive issues to Accounting leadership. This position does not independently authorize payments, approve financial adjustments, or make accounting-policy decisions.HOW SUCCESS WILL BE MEASURED
