Salary: $23 - $26 per hour A bit about us: We are on the lookout for a dynamic and detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist to join our fast-paced finance team. This full-time position is an excellent opportunity to further your career in finance, working alongside a team of dedicated professionals. You will be responsible for handling our company's bills and managing our accounts payable ledger. You will be tasked with receiving, processing, verifying invoices, and performing accounting and administrative tasks as needed. This position requires you to have a keen eye for detail, a strong understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting payable principles, and the ability to accurately carry out high volumes of data entry. Maintain vendor relationships, respond to vendor inquiries, and resolve any discrepancies in invoice payments. Ensure the accurate and timely processing of payment transactions. Maintain accurate and organized records of vendor payments. Utilize Apetch and PVNG systems to streamline and automate the accounts payable process. Assist with administrative tasks as needed such as filing, data entry, and record keeping. Prepare and submit weekly/monthly reports to enhance transparency and aid in financial planning. Work collaboratively with the finance team to improve financial processes and procedures. Qualifications: Proven working experience as an Accounts Payable Specialist or a similar role in the finance/accounting field. Proficient in vendor management and invoice processing. Proficient in data entry and administrative tasks. Strong knowledge of Apetch and PVNG systems. Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting payable principles. High degree of accuracy and attention to detail. Excellent organizing abilities. Great interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to handle sensitive, confidential information. Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration is a plus.
