IMMEDIATE job opportunity for a driven individual who has a proven track record of performance and desire to work for a well-established organization. We are looking for an experienced Help Desk Technician II for an American company that provides software, hardware and services for smart mobility infrastructure management located in Santa Ana/Irvine.

Location: Santa Ana, CA (Relocating to Irvine, CA in late 2027)
Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 9-hour shifts | Friday, 4-hour shift (Flexible start time as early as 7:00 AM)
Employment Type: Contract (Potential Contract-to-Hire)

We are seeking an experienced Help Desk Technician II to join our IT team. This role is ideal for someone who can quickly step in, work independently, and provide exceptional technical support to employees and contractors. The successful candidate will troubleshoot hardware and software issues, manage IT support tickets, assist with computer deployments, and help maintain the company's technology assets.

Key Responsibilities

• Respond to Help Desk tickets and incoming support calls.
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and Microsoft Office 365 issues.
• Install, configure, and support Windows PCs, Dell, and Apple hardware.
• Escalate complex issues to Infrastructure or Application Support teams as needed.
• Assist with computer setup, imaging, deployment, asset tracking, and equipment lifecycle management.
• Document support activities and maintain accurate ticket records.
• Provide outstanding customer service while supporting users both in person and remotely.
• Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues in a timely manner.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 3–5 years of Help Desk or IT Support experience.
• Experience supporting Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office 365.
• Experience using IT ticketing systems.
• Knowledge of Dell and Apple hardware.
• Basic understanding of networking concepts.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to explain technical concepts to users with varying levels of technical knowledge.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple support requests.

Preferred Qualifications

• Advanced computer troubleshooting experience.
• Experience with IT asset management and equipment deployment.
• Strong customer service skills in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience supporting enterprise desktop environments.

Pay range: $26 - $35/hr
