Senior Technical Support Engineer (Tier 1–3) – Financial Services / Legal Environment
Boston, MA (4 days a week onsite)
Overview
We’re partnering with a professional services organization in the financial/legal space seeking a Senior Technical Support Engineer to deliver high-touch, white-glove IT support. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in fast-paced, client-facing environments and can comfortably handle everything from day-to-day help desk issues to more complex Tier 3 escalations.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide Tier 1–3 technical support across desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and enterprise applications
- Deliver white-glove support to executives and end users, ensuring a high level of professionalism and responsiveness
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to:
- Windows 10/11 environments
- Microsoft 365 (O365) including Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive
- Exchange Online (mail flow, access, configuration)
- Intune / Endpoint Management
- Support and maintain conference room technology (AV systems, Teams/Zoom rooms)
- Provide phone and remote support as well as in-person desk-side assistance
- Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network-related issues
- Partner with infrastructure and security teams on escalations and root cause analysis
- Assist with onboarding/offboarding, device provisioning, and user account setup
- Document issues, solutions, and processes within ticketing systems
Qualifications
- 4+ years of experience in technical support / desktop support / help desk roles
- Experience working in financial services, legal, or other white glove environments
- Strong hands-on experience with:
- Windows OS and desktop troubleshooting
- Microsoft 365 ecosystem
- Intune / endpoint management tools
- Exchange Online
- Experience supporting conference room AV and collaboration tools
- Ability to operate across Tier 1, 2, and 3 support levels
- Excellent communication skills with a polished, client-facing presence
- Strong troubleshooting mindset and ability to work independently
