Med Surg Charge Registered Nurse (RN)

Seeking an experienced Med Surg Charge Registered Nurse for a night shift position. The ideal candidate will have both Med Surg and previous Emergency Room experience, and will be expected to provide exceptional nursing care in a small rural facility.

Job Details

• Position: Med Surg Charge Registered Nurse
• Shift: 6 PM - 6 AM
• Weekly Hours: 36 hours per week
• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Location: Rural facility in California

Responsibilities

• Oversee the Med Surg unit operations during the assigned shift.
• Ensure high standards of patient care and safety.
• Manage nursing staff and delegate tasks efficiently.
• Assess patient conditions and implement appropriate nursing interventions.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to optimize patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in Kansas or multistate licensure.
• AHA BLS certification required.
• Previous experience in a Critical Access Hospital (CAH) setting preferred.
• Prior travel nursing experience is highly preferred.
