This general medical and surgical facility in western Kentucky serves a multi-state regional population encompassing western Kentucky, southern Illinois, southeast Missouri, and northwest Tennessee. The facility provides 24-hour emergency care, advanced surgical services, and a comprehensive cancer center, operating with established clinical protocols to support continuous inpatient care delivery. Clinical operations are structured on-site to accommodate 24-hour call-based obstetric and gynecologic coverage.

The Paducah, Kentucky area offers clinicians on assignment access to a range of regional attractions and recreational opportunities. Outdoor enthusiasts will find activities along the Ohio River and scenic riverfront areas. The region also features local cultural offerings, dining, and community events, providing a well-rounded selection of leisure activities during time away from the facility.

Clinicians will provide inpatient obstetric and gynecologic coverage through 24-hour call assignments at an on-site facility in Kentucky, with approximately 6-7 days of coverage per month and potential for additional shifts. Clinical responsibilities include routine vaginal delivery, low forceps delivery, decision-making for cesarean section, and management of complicated deliveries such as breech presentations, multiple births, and abruptions. Clinicians are also expected to manage VBACs and perform repair of third and fourth degree lacerations.
