Promote the sales of company-branded products utilizing a consultative sales approach to include Collateral Protection Insurance, GAP insurance, Credit Life, etc. to achieve maximum market penetration through outside sales activities. Primary customer base includes banks, credit unions and finance companies. Primary customer base includes banks, credit unions and finance companies. Essential Functions Identify potential clients and build relationships through: cold calling, networking, attending industry related conferences and tradeshows as well as attending bank and credit union functions and after hour events Establish meetings with appropriate client contacts and consult on State National Companies (SNC’s) products and services Responsible for partnering and maintaining relationships with existing SNC clients Develop and present solutions to insure client satisfaction and profitability Responsible for meeting annual sales quotas determined by executive management for defined territory by closing deals Responsible for maintaining accurate client profiles and sales activities by using SNC’s Microsoft CRM Account Tracking system on weekly basis. Also responsible for completing additional paperwork as required Aggressively remain informed of competitors’ activities through review of information from outside sources and keep home office abreast of these activities May be required to develop and submit a regional quarterly business plan defined territory Attend periodic sales meetings with regional staff as required Job Qualifications Knowledge Property and casualty insurance experience helpful Must be able to obtain and maintain Property and Casualty License(s) as required by perspective states within assigned territory Skills/Abilities Basic computer proficiency and basic Microsoft Office skills Strong interpersonal and persuasive skills Strong relationship building skills Effective communications skills to include verbal, written and listening Ability to manage time effectively by using outstanding organizational skills, excellent analytical skills and managing multiple priorities Self-motivation, drive, and discipline to work with little or no supervision Ability to work a long term sales cycle (9 months +) Experience/Education 4-5 years outside sales experience in a related industry Consultative sales experience required College degree or equivalent preferred, will substitute education for experience US Work Authorization US Work Authorization required.
