Business Development Manager

Job Description
My client, an AmLaw 200 firm, wants a BD Senior Specialist for three practice groups: Labor & Employment, Patent and Trademark. You’ll work directly with practice leaders and partners on client development and new business. The role was built with a career path in mind.
\n \nWhat you’ll do:
\n- \n
- Design and adjust BD plans and budgets for the groups and individual attorneys \n
- Produce RFP responses, pitch materials and presentations \n
- Find new opportunities using litigation tracking tools, GenAI and research \n
- Research targets, competitors and industry trends, and draft outreach strategies \n
- Track and report results on pitches, proposals and referrals \n
- Run Chambers and Legal 500 submissions and support the group’s blog, events and webinars \n
What you bring:
\n- \n
- Bachelor’s degree \n
- 5–6 years of BD or marketing at a law firm or other professional services firm \n
- L&E or IP practice support experience preferred \n
- Strong project management, writing and CRM skills \n
