About This Role Every position at Common Citizen, from seed to sale, contributes to our mission to serve Michigan residents with the highest quality, safest cannabis products through our education-oriented provisioning centers. We are looking for a responsible Guest Experience Lead to help organize and run our retail stores and to fill in for the General Manager when needed. Your role is critical to ensuring the sales team meets its goals of efficiency and customer satisfaction. Responsibilities Assist the General Manager and Guest Experience Managers in organizing, planning, and implementing strategy Coordinate retail store operations Ensure store schedules and objectives are met by employees Track the progress of weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual objectives Evaluate employee performance and assist in employee reviews Identify hiring and training needs Supervise and motivate staff to perform their best Coach and support new and existing Guest Advisors Communicate with clients and evaluate their needs Analyze consumer behavior and adjust product positioning Handle complaints from customers Create reports, analyze and interpret retail data such as revenues and expenses Conduct regular audits to ensure the store is functional and presentable Ensure compliance with company policies and guidelines Represent the store and set a positive example for staff Experience, Skills & Qualifications A minimum of 2 years in a customer service role within a retail environment A background in healthcare, social work, or related fields is preferred Leadership and organizational abilities Familiarity with financial and customer service principles Interpersonal and communication skills Problem-solving attitude Physical Requirements Regularly required to sit for long periods Use hands to handle, control, or feel objects, tools, or controls Reach with hands and arms; speak and hear Occasionally required to stand and walk Frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds Why You’d Love This Role Professional and aligned with our founding principles: “Cannabis for humanity” and “Change for the better.” Passion for providing residents and visitors with high-quality and safe cannabis products Desire to change the social perception of cannabis and contribute to humanity Commitment to continuous learning and improvement, personally and professionally Value integrity and honesty; contribute these values to the cannabis industry Enjoy being part of a team and sharing skills with fellow citizens Appreciation for all stages of the cannabis production cycle Aware of contamination risk between commercial and home grows and will not operate a home grow while working with us Common Citizen is an equal opportunity employer.
