Rhino Medical is leading the charge seeking a Michigan-licensed CRNA for a hospital-based anesthesiology locum tenens opportunity in Detroit, Michigan. You’ll provide anesthesia care for adult surgical cases and a limited pediatric population in a Level 1 trauma center, with day shifts only and no on-call or weekend duties.

Opportunity Details

• Location: Detroit, Michigan
• Assignment Type: Locum Tenens
• Setting: Hospital-based anesthesiology in a Level 1 trauma center
• Coverage: Approximately 2 weeks
• Scheduled Coverage: 06/01/2026 through 08/29/2026

Schedule Details

• Day shifts only (8, 10, or 12 hours)
• No on-call or weekend requirements

Clinical Scope

• Deliver anesthesia for inpatient surgical procedures
• Manage adult patients and a limited pediatric population
• Support general surgery and neurosurgical cases
• Provide deep sedation/MAC anesthesia
• Manage ventilation during procedures
• Oversee physician-administered regional anesthesia
• Perform preoperative assessments and patient education
• Document anesthesia care and patient management in Epic EMR
• Respond to patient emergencies in coordination with the care team

Practice Environment

• Level 1 trauma center with inpatient surgical volume
• Multidisciplinary perioperative team
• Epic EMR documentation

Requirements

• Current NBCRNA certification
• Active Michigan medical license (not pending)
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
• Locum coverage only
