Automotive Technician

Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Automotive Technician to join our automotive diagnostics team . This position involves hands-on work with vehicle communication systems , ECU flashing , and diagnostic testing using Vector tools . The ideal candidate should have a foundational understanding of CAN communication and a keen interest in automotive systems. Key Responsibilities Perform diagnostics and ECU flashing on automotive systems using Vector tools (e.g., CANoe, CANalyzer, vFlash ). Support development and validation of vehicle communication protocols (CAN). Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to vehicle software and communication . Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to execute test plans and document results . Maintain detailed records of flashing activities and diagnostic procedures . Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards in all operations. Required Qualifications Associate’s degree or technical certification in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Automotive Technology , or related field. 1 year of experience with CAN communication protocols . 1 year of hands-on experience with Vector tools (CANoe, CANalyzer, vFlash). Strong attention to detail and ability to follow technical procedures. Excellent problem-solving and communication skills . Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Preferred Qualifications Prior experience in automotive diagnostics or ECU flashing . Knowledge of UDS (Unified Diagnostic Services) and other automotive communication standards . Experience working in a manufacturing or vehicle testing environment.
