The Business Development & Partnership Executive

Overview At Early Warning, we’ve powered and protected the U.S. financial system for over thirty years with cutting‑edge solutions like Zelle®, Paze℠, and more. This role is a high‑impact business development and partnership position focused on accelerating adoption and growth of Paze through key issuer channel partnerships. The role is located in one of the following cities: Scottsdale, SanFrancisco, Chicago, or NewYork. Positions are in a hybrid work model and require candidates to be eligible to work in the United States; no visa sponsorship is offered. Essential Functions Execute the issuer channel market strategy to help Paze reach issuer partners at scale. Develop the pipeline of direct sales of new issuers and convert new issuers via channels such as FIS and Fiserv. Engage and sell net new channel partners (e.g., TSYS and JackHenry) to meet or exceed annual goals. Lead the development of the issuer channel program, a cross‑functional effort to sell, implement, optimize, maintain, and grow Paze transactions. Align solutions to meet customer needs and help sell and execute complex channel networks. Work with key EWS resources to develop and coordinate overall strategic account plans for assigned accounts, including marketing campaigns, prospect lists, technology tools, and research. Represent the company as an expert in the services and products offered. Record interactions (calls, emails, attached docs, etc.) and maintain all processes within Salesforce.com with high detail and accuracy to support forecasting and pipeline management. Support the company’s risk management commitments and protect the integrity and confidentiality of systems and data. Qualifications Education: Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or a related field. Experience growing and managing partner channels; pipeline management; obtaining meetings with key decision‑makers (C‑level) within the financial services industry. Demonstrated success in cultivating and managing relationships with banking and/or financial services clients. Consultative/strategic sales experience in a hunter role within risk/payments/fraud banking or financial services industry. Proven experience in software, SaaS sales, authentication sales, or information security sales to large financial institutions. Strong consultative, conceptual, and strategic selling and negotiating skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills and active listening. Ability to travel up to 50%. Strong organizational skills, ability to manage multiple assignments. Self‑driven, flexible, collaborative. Background and drug screen required. Preferred: higher‑level education; recognized industry influencer with speaking engagements; proficiency with Salesforce.com; proven experience working in a matrixed organization; B2B experience. Physical Requirements Work is primarily sedentary in a normal office environment. Requires extensive computer use, sitting for approximately four hours at a time, occasional standing, walking, kneeling, and reaching. Must be able to lift 10 pounds occasionally. Requires visual acuity and dexterity. Ability to travel. Employee must be able to perform essential functions with or without reasonable accommodation. Compensation Base salary for this position in NewYork,NY / SanFrancisco,CA is $140,000–$180,000 per year. Candidates are also eligible for a discretionary incentive plan and benefits. Compensation may vary and is not guaranteed.
