Journeyman Die Maker 1st Shift
Digital Tool & Die is an established tool and die shop in Grandville Michigan. We specialize in designing and fabricating world-class sheet metal stamping dies, roll forming, fixtures, fabrication, and special applications to meet the industrial needs for automotive, furniture, prototyping, applicance, and U.S. Military.
Job Description
- Assemble and try-out sheet metal stamping dies
- Safely operate presses, press feeder equipment, forklifts, overhead cranes, surface grinders and other machine tools.
- Responsible for quality and on time delivery of new tool build projects.
- Effectively communicate with engineering and quality team members when trouble shooting.
- Help train and mentor apprentices on how dies are built and supposed to function.
Qualifications
- Journeyman Tool and Die Maker
- Set up and operate machine tools (surface grinders, drill presses, and milling machines).
- Safely operate forklifts and overhead cranes
- Understand and use a wide range of precision measuring instruments.
- Ability to manage multiple projects efficiently and thoroughly
- Dependable, strong work ethic, collaborative team member
- Good housekeeping skills

- 1st Shift: Mon-Fri 6am - 4:30pm, Sat. 6am - 11am
