Service Desk Representative

Summary: The Service Desk Representative is a high-profile customer service position delivering beyond our member's expectations. They contribute to member retention, as well as new membership sales. This person has the responsibility of being responsive to members; checking members in and acting as a resource for members' needs of goods and services while in the club facilities. The Service Desk Representative acts as the Center's first line of communication with members and creates a friendly and welcoming environment.Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:Greets members/guests enthusiastically and efficiently handle the check-in processAnswers telephone and field callsSchedules massage appointments either in person or by phoneAssists members with purchases of retail goods and club servicesPresents membership information to prospective members, as well as refer them to Member Sales DepartmentWorks as a TEAM with all other departmentsOther FunctionsBe knowledgeable about all programs and activities offered by PJCCPromotes club services and activitiesAssists with keeping the club well stocked and cleanMaintains communication log and lost & found ledgerHandles member injury and illness incident reportingAvailable Shifts:Monday - Thursday: 5:00pm - 10:00pmFriday - Saturday: Between 7:00am - 7:00pmSunday: Between 7:00am - 6:00pmWhat We're Looking For:Minimum GED/High School Diploma or 18+ years oldMust be detail oriented, organized and highly responsive with a commitment to customer serviceStrong written and verbal communication skillsBasic accounting skills, customer service skills, results oriented, basic computer skills, ability to multi-task, and commitment to the fitness industrAED/CPR/First Aid Certified, preferredEducation:High School diploma or equivalentPhysical and Working ConditionsAbility to stand for several hours; ability to lift 25 lbsFitness club environment.Must follow OSHA and PJCC safety standards #J-18808-Ljbffr Peninsula Jewish Community Center
