Description What You'll Do

• Conduct both routine and complex clinical lab testsincluding chemistry, hematology, immunology, and morewhile adhering to established protocols.
• Carefully evaluate and analyze test results for accuracy, resolve discrepancies, and take charge of preventative maintenance and calibration of laboratory equipment.
• Assist in the collection of specimens and prepare samples for testing as necessary.
• Diligently document all procedures, provide guidance to new team members or students, and uphold the highest standards of lab quality.
• Ensure a clean and safe working environment while complying with regulatory and accreditation standards.

Education

• A Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or an equivalent allied health degree along with ASCP/AMT certification preparation.

Certifications

• ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) must be obtained within the first year of employment.
• Ensure your certification remains current throughout your career.
