Contract Specialist

Key Responsibilities

• Draft, review, process, and administer a variety of contracts, agreements, amendments, renewals, and related documentation
• Manage contracts throughout the full lifecycle, from initial request and negotiation through execution, renewal, and termination
• Review contractual terms and conditions for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with company policies
• Coordinate with Legal, Finance, Procurement, Operations, and other departments to facilitate contract review and approvals
• Track key contract dates, including expirations, renewals, notice periods, and other critical milestones
• Maintain organized and accurate contract files, databases, and electronic records
• Assist with contract negotiations and communicate requested revisions between internal stakeholders and external parties
• Monitor contractual obligations and follow up with appropriate parties to ensure requirements and deadlines are met
• Identify discrepancies, risks, or non-standard terms and escalate issues when appropriate
• Prepare reports and summaries related to contract status, renewals, obligations, and other key metrics
• Support improvements to contract management processes, procedures, and internal controls

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Legal Studies, Supply Chain, or a related field preferred
• 3+ years of experience in contract administration, contract management, procurement, legal operations, or a related function
• Strong understanding of contract terminology and the contract lifecycle
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple contracts, priorities, and deadlines simultaneously
• Comfortable working with multiple departments and levels of management
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; experience with contract lifecycle management (CLM) or document management systems is a plus
