Recruiting And Hr Coordinator

Our client, a well-known Financial Services firm in New York, NY, is looking for a Recruiting and HR Coordinator to join its team!

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the full-cycle recruitment process, including job descriptions, job postings, resume tracking, interview scheduling, candidate assessments, background checks, reference checks, and onboarding paperwork
• Manage candidate communication and scheduling throughout the hiring process, ensuring a positive experience for candidates, recruiters, and hiring teams
• Maintain the applicant tracking system, career inboxes, recruitment spreadsheets, and related reports and metrics
• Coordinate job postings across company websites, university sites, and external job boards
• Track search timelines, candidate status, and required follow-ups to ensure searches progress efficiently
• Coordinate with search firms and background check providers, including maintaining vendor agreements and required documentation
• Support HR operations including employee records, onboarding and offboarding, ID cards, calendar management, and general administrative needs
• Coordinate employee training, information sessions, surveys, and engagement initiatives
• Process HR invoices, reimbursements, business cards, and other departmental requests
• Provide project management and administrative support for HR initiatives and ad hoc projects
• Provide backup support to the HR team and collaborate across the department on various initiatives

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred, ideally in HR, Business, Psychology, or a related field
• 3+ years of experience in recruiting, HR, or related administrative and operational support
• Experience coordinating full-cycle recruiting processes and working with hiring managers and candidates
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
