In this role, you will be pivotal in diagnosing and treating patients experiencing chronic pain conditions while emphasizing preventive care and holistic health practices. You will work collaboratively with a team of healthcare professionals to provide the best possible outcomes for our patients.

The Body and Spine Locomotion Physical Therapy Clinic is dedicated to enhancing patient health and well-being through comprehensive pain management solutions. Our facility is equipped with state-of-the-art technology and staffed by a team of experienced medical professionals, including five physicians and five nurse practitioners. Work Environment

This position is onsite at a well-established hospital setting in Trenton, New Jersey. The clinic operates Monday through Friday with a structured workload of 40 hours per week, concluding at 5:00 pm. Our dynamic environment facilitates teamwork and open communication, fostering professional growth and delivering quality care to our diverse patient population.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive physical examinations and assess patient histories to determine health conditions.
• Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests, such as blood tests and imaging studies, to aid in clinical decision-making.
• Diagnose acute and chronic health conditions and develop personalized treatment plans tailored to each patient's needs.
• Prescribe medications and manage treatment regimens for various pain management protocols.
• Maintain meticulous patient records and schedules, ensuring accurate documentation of all patient interactions.
• Engage in patient and family education regarding health conditions, treatment options, and preventive care practices.
• Collaborate regularly with fellow healthcare professionals to enhance patient care strategies and outcomes.
• Participate in continuous learning and professional development initiatives, contributing to research projects as needed.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily serve adult patients suffering from a range of pain management issues, including but not limited to musculoskeletal injuries, neuropathic pain, and post-operative pain management. Your role will involve working closely with individuals from diverse backgrounds and varying stages of their health journeys, advocating for their care and supporting them in leading healthier lives.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s Degree and a Master's degree in Physician Assistant studies.
• A valid Physician Assistant license in the state of New Jersey.
• Certifications such as PA-C are required.
• An active DEA number allowing for the prescription of medications.
• Demonstrated expertise in primary care and pain management practices.
• Strong ethical framework and a commitment to patient-centered care.

Preferred Experience

• Demonstrated experience as a Physician Assistant in a clinical or hospital environment, particularly in pain management.
• Experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems for patient management and documentation.
• Bilingual abilities are a plus but not mandatory.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 120,000 to 150,000, depending on experience and qualifications. In addition to a salary that reflects your expertise, we offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
