Finance Associate (6-Month Fixed-Term)

Position Summary The Department of Cardiothoracic Surgery at Stanford University Medical Center is looking for a Finance Associate to provide outstanding accounting and finance-related support to faculty, researchers, lab staff, and department administrators. Key Responsibilities Provide accounting and finance support to faculty, researchers, lab staff, and department administrators. Work Arrangements This role is a hybrid position that requires on-site work at the Stanford campus three days per week and allows telecommuting two days per week, subject to operational needs. Employees are expected to remain available and accessible during scheduled work hours and may need to attend in-person meetings or departmental events as needed. Physical Requirements Constantly perform desk-based computer tasks. Frequently sit, sort, file paperwork or parts, grasp lightly, and use fine manipulation, lift, carry, push and pull objects that weigh 10 pounds or less. Occasionally write by hand, twist, bend, stoop and squat. Rarely stand, walk, reach or work above shoulders and use a telephone. Work Conditions May work extended hours during peak business cycles.
