Position Summary

As an NC Certified Peer Support Specialist, you’ll play a vital role in our mission by providing compassionate, peer-based support to individuals navigating life’s challenges. Drawing on your own lived experiences, you’ll help others heal, rebuild, and achieve their goals within a supportive and collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities

Your day-to-day will involve:
- Building trusting, supportive relationships with individuals seeking assistance.
- Sharing your lived experiences to inspire hope and provide guidance.
- Assisting individuals in identifying and achieving personal goals.
- Connecting individuals to community resources and services within our ecosystem of care.
- Collaborating with team members to create personalized support plans.
- Advocating for the needs and voices of those you support.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To thrive in this role, you’ll need:
- NC Peer Support Specialist Certification (required).
- A minimum of 1 year of experience in a related role or providing peer support.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- A genuine passion for helping others and a commitment to our mission.
- The ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
