Software Quality Assurance Associate

Quality Assurance Professional Lake Forest, IL (Fully Onsite). Pay: $37–46/hour. Duration: 3 Months (available for extensions based on performance). Non-Exempt Contract Position. We are seeking a Quality Assurance Professional to join a leading Diagnostics organization in Lake Forest, IL. This role is responsible for conducting quality‑related activities to ensure consistent, high‑quality documents, services, products, and processes while supporting regulatory compliance for healthcare products. Key Responsibilities Conduct quality assurance activities to support compliant products, processes, and services Define project goals, timelines, and milestones while ensuring timely completion Deliver practical, innovative, and compliant solutions aligned with organizational objectives Lead projects with cross‑functional scope when needed Collaborate effectively with employees, managers, and stakeholders across functions Communicate project updates and recommendations confidently with leadership and peers Implement tactical solutions and contribute expertise across QA functions Influence project scope and direction through quality leadership Provide guidance and training to QA professionals and technicians Oversee QA professionals and/or contractors when applicable Maintain effectiveness of the Quality System, subsystems, and key processes Address non‑compliance issues promptly in accordance with site, division, and corporate policies Support risk management activities related to product safety and efficacy Create and review risk management documentation to reduce or eliminate risk Make independent decisions within defined parameters while ensuring compliance Required Qualifications Apprenticeship or Bachelor’s degree in Life Science, Engineering, or closely related discipline, or equivalent combination of education and experience 5+ years of experience in Quality or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience Healthcare industry experience preferred Proven track record of completing successful projects and driving compliance outcomes Preferred Qualifications Knowledge of Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) Knowledge of cloud‑based software applications Knowledge of cybersecurity standards Knowledge of Agile development methodologies Top Skills Required Execution of SDLC activities and defect lifecycle management, including authoring/review/approval of deliverables End‑to‑end manual and automated test execution (functional, regression, UAT, etc.) Strong quality mindset with ownership through completion Ability to quickly adapt to existing systems and processes Previous SQA experience with Client and use of ALM application preferred If you are an experienced QA professional with strong compliance and software quality expertise, apply today. #J-18808-Ljbffr The Fountain Group
