Step into a dynamic contract opportunity providing occupational therapy services onsite in early childhood educational settings. Located near Scranton, PA, this role offers a chance to support young learners in Lackawanna County and grow your school-based expertise. The schedule is 21 hours per week, working across 2-3 days, with the potential to expand to a full 5-day week as the school calendar progresses. The position begins as soon as possible and runs through June 16, 2027.

Ideal candidates bring a background in school OT and experience working with younger children. This is a perfect fit if you’re passionate about helping kids build critical life and motor skills that support their academic and personal success.

Qualifications:

• Active Occupational Therapy license in Pennsylvania
• Able to provide (or obtain) required PA clearances
• Experience working with young children; early childhood setting experience highly preferred
• Previous work in school-based roles is a plus
• Comfortable working onsite and collaborating with school staff and families
• Ready for a Zoom interview as part of the hiring process

Responsibilities:

• Deliver occupational therapy services to support students’ IEP goals
• Engage with children in early childhood programs, tailoring interventions to individual needs
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to promote optimal student development
• Document treatment plans, progress, and outcomes efficiently
• Flexibly transition to increased hours as needs change throughout the school year
