This full-time position offers the flexibility of remote work, while primarily serving a diverse population in the vibrant community of Saint Petersburg, Florida. As a key member of our clinical team, you will provide specialized mental health counseling to individuals grappling with mood disorders, including but not limited to depression and anxiety.

Work Environment\n

This position operates within a remote work environment, allowing you to manage your schedule effectively while focusing on client care. You will work alongside a dedicated team of psychiatrists and other mental health professionals, ensuring an interconnected approach to treating mood disorders. Our clinical practice operates Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, promoting a healthy work-life balance while enabling you to provide consistent care to your clients.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients presenting with symptoms of mood disorders, determining the severity and impact on their daily lives.

• Develop personalized treatment plans in collaboration with your clients, addressing their specific goals, challenges, and preferences.

• Employ evidence-based therapeutic modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), in your sessions to enhance client outcomes.

• Educate clients and their families about mood disorders, treatment options, and effective self-care strategies to empower them in their recovery journey.

• Regularly monitor client progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed to ensure optimum care and engagement.

• Collaborate effectively with psychiatrists and other medical professionals to create a holistic treatment approach that benefits the client’s overall mental health.

• Stay informed of the latest research advancements in mood disorders to continually refine and improve therapeutic practices.

• Maintain precise and confidential records of client sessions, assessments, and treatment plans, adhering to legal and ethical obligations.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on individuals experiencing various mood disorders, including depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety-related conditions. Qualifications\n

• A master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Possession of a valid and current license as an LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT in Florida.

• Proficiency in proven therapeutic techniques for treating mood disorders, such as CBT and DBT.

• A solid understanding of psychopharmacology and the skills to collaborate closely with psychiatrists and healthcare teams.

• A history of successful outcome delivery in the management and treatment of mood disorders.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, enabling you to connect with clients from various backgrounds.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n

This full-time role offers a competitive salary range of USD 80,000–100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
