Clinical Nursing Supervisor

Role: Clinical Nursing Supervisor in the OB Emergency Department. Responsibilities Include Coordinating patient placement and staff assignments for safe, efficient care Supporting clinical staff with patient care and unit operations Serving as a clinical resource for nurses, patients, and families Supervising and directing clinical activities, especially during rapid patient condition changes Collaborating with physicians, leadership, and interdisciplinary teams Participating in staff education, onboarding, and training Leading quality improvement initiatives Managing departmental operations such as staffing, scheduling, and resource use Maintaining inventory, equipment, and unit environment Representing the department on committees and organizational initiatives Qualifications & Skills Graduate of an accredited Nursing program Active RN license (or compact license) Minimum 2 years of patient care experience Required certifications: BLS; additional certifications like ACLS, NRP, or PALS may be necessary Preferred: leadership experience, BSN degree, experience in OB or high-acuity settings Physical Requirements Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs, stand and walk for prolonged periods, and perform bending, kneeling, and reaching movements. #J-18808-Ljbffr AccessHealth
