Lecturer – Public Service Minor – Thurgood Marshall College University of California San Diego Position Overview Position title: Lecturer Salary range: $70,977 – $107,361 (based on UC compensation scales). Position Description Part‑time, non‑tenure track lectureships teaching two or more sections of TMC 15: Public Service in America, a required course for the Public Service Minor. The instructor will develop course materials, lead classroom instruction, facilitate discussions, and assess student learning, ensuring that students analyze the history and current role of public service in the United States across the government, business, and nonprofit sectors. Qualifications Basic qualifications (required at time of application) Pursuing a higher education in Public Administration, Education, Ethnic Studies, Public Health, Sociology, or another pertinent field. Additional qualifications (required at time of start) Master's or terminal degree in Public Administration, Education, Ethnic Studies, Public Health, Sociology, or another pertinent field (by start date).
