Revenue Accounting Manager

A publicly traded company headquartered in Phoenix is hiring a Revenue Accounting Manager to run hands-on revenue accounting operations while overseeing the accounting team's day-to-day processes. This role owns GAAP and ASC 606 compliance, drives the month-end close, and partners across the business on revenue-impacting initiatives. This is a primarily remote role with a predictable onsite cadence. You'll be in the Phoenix office Monday through Friday during month-end and quarter-end close weeks (roughly one week per month, occasionally a bit longer as needed), and remote the rest of the time. What you'll do: Perform hands-on revenue accounting and own ASC 606 compliance Manage month-end close, journal entries, and account reconciliations Partner with Marketing and Billing Operations on product launches and billing changes Lead revenue standardization and system integration projects Analyze business changes for revenue implications and prepare technical accounting memos Perform financial statement analysis and resolve accounting issues Qualifications: 8-10 years of revenue accounting experience, either at a public company or in a Big 4 (or comparable) environment supporting public company clients Strong working knowledge of GAAP; ASC 606 experience preferred Advanced Microsoft Excel skills Ability to analyze large datasets and surface trends Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills Self-starter who prioritizes well in a fast-paced environment What our client offers: Medical, dental, and vision starting day 1 401(k) with 100% company match up to 5%, immediate vesting Paid time off and life insurance Tuition reimbursement up to $5,250 Complimentary company services plus up to a $75/month stipend Strong work/life balance and an inclusive workplace #J-18808-Ljbffr
