Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Hold a current Special Education Teaching certification and relevant state credentials
• Strong knowledge of special education laws, IEP process, and individualized instructional strategies
• Previous experience in special education classroom settings and case management
• Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work effectively with a diverse student population and multidisciplinary teams

Core Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to each student’s strengths and needs
• Provide direct specialized instruction, adapting lessons for accessibility and engagement
• Coordinate resources and services while acting as a liaison among students, families, and faculty
• Manage a caseload of students, maintaining accurate documentation and ensuring compliance with regulations
• Participate in professional development and contribute to fostering a positive, inclusive learning environment
