We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Sales Support Specialist to serve as a key coordinator for our sales team. This is a remote, contract opportunity with a preference for candidates located in Southwest Michigan or Northern Indiana who are open to occasional in-person meetings and events. The role will initially begin at approximately 20 hours per week, with a planned progression to 30 hours and ultimately 40 hours per week as responsibilities expand. While our goal is to transition this role to full-time as soon as possible, candidates should anticipate the position remaining in the 20–30 hour per week range through the end of the year.

Sales Support Specialist Details:

• Contract position
• $ 30.00 to $ 35.00 / hour
• First Shift

• Coordinate daily activities and priorities for the sales team.
• Support the planning and execution of sales outreach campaigns and market development initiatives.
• Track sales activities, follow-up actions, and key business development opportunities.
• Assist with prospect research, lead generation, and customer outreach efforts.
• Prepare sales reports, presentations, and performance metrics.
• Manage sales meeting schedules, agendas, and follow-up action items.
• Serve as a liaison between sales, marketing, operations, and leadership teams.
• Help organize customer visits, trade shows, networking events, and industry outreach activities.
• Maintain CRM records and ensure customer and prospect information remains accurate and up to date.
• Identify process improvements to increase sales team productivity and effectiveness.
• Support special projects and strategic initiatives as assigned by sales leadership.

Sales Support Specialist Qualifications:

Required

• Bachelor's degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field (or expected graduation within the current year).
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Positive, professional, and customer-focused mindset.

Preferred

• Experience in sales, customer service, marketing, or business administration.
• Experience working with CRM platforms (Monday, Salesforce, HubSpot, Microsoft Dynamics, etc.).
• Demonstrated interest in sales, business development, or commercial operations.
