Salary: $120,000 - $150,000 per year A bit about us: We are seeking an experienced Revenue Accounting Manager to lead revenue accounting operations for a growing life sciences organization. This newly created position offers the opportunity to build and enhance revenue recognition processes in a complex and evolving business environment. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical accounting expertise, hands-on experience with ASC 606, and the ability to collaborate effectively across finance and operational teams to ensure accurate financial reporting, regulatory compliance, and scalable processes. Exciting work in a rapidly growing public company Benefits- Medical/Dental/401k Generous PTO Paid sick leave Paid holidays Onsite position in Pasadena Job Details Responsibilities Serve as the subject matter expert for revenue recognition under ASC 606 and U.S. GAAP, including the review and assessment of complex customer, collaboration, and partnership agreements. -Develop, implement, and maintain revenue accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls in compliance with SOX requirements. Partner cross-functionally to support revenue forecasting, resource tracking, and input-based revenue recognition methodologies, ensuring supporting documentation is accurate and audit-ready. Manage month-end and quarter-end revenue close activities, including journal entries, account reconciliations, variance analysis, and accounts receivable processes. Support gross-to-net revenue accounting activities and review third-party calculations and supporting documentation. Prepare revenue-related financial statement disclosures and support external reporting requirements. Maintain effective internal controls over revenue and receivables, ensuring proper documentation, execution, and compliance. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. 5+ years of progressive accounting or finance experience with significant responsibility for revenue recognition under ASC 606. Experience within the pharmaceutical industry or working with pharmaceutical industry clients in public accounting is required. Big 4 audit experience is required. Interested in hearing more?
